This weed barrier suppresses weeds physically by blocking sunlight without destroying the original soil composition, maintaining the stability of the on-site soil environment. We have developed three differentiated versions to match various site conditions and budgets:
Standard Weed Barrier
Equipped with surface thermal treatment for basic weed suppression. Its root resistance is limited, so weed roots may penetrate the fabric in areas with rampant weed growth.
Double-Layer Root-Resistant Weed Barrier
Built with high-strength root-blocking structure. Even if weed seeds germinate underground, roots can barely pierce the material, delivering long-lasting reliable weed control for large-scale PV plants.
Reflective Power-Boost Weed Barrier
It retains full root inhibition capability while reflecting scattered sunlight onto photovoltaic modules. This reflective characteristic brings an extra economic benefit by increasing the overall power output of the solar array.
Adopts light-shielding principle to restrain weeds naturally, keeps the original soil intact with no negative impact on the field ecological environment.
Standard, double-layer root-resistant and reflective three options cover low, medium and high demand scenarios for weed prevention.
Reflected ambient light supplements the irradiation received by panels, effectively lifting the power yield of the whole photovoltaic system.
Matched pins, washers and splicing tapes support convenient on-site laying and long-term stable fixing of the fabric.
